1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using exhubb.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Exhubb.
2. What Exhubb is
Exhubb is an escrow-protected marketplace where independent sellers list digital goods and services and buyers purchase them. Exhubb is a venue and escrow agent — we are not the seller of user-listed items and we do not guarantee any listing, except by operating the escrow and dispute process described below.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for the security of your login and all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information. Sellers must complete a seller profile (name and username required) before listing.
- One person should not operate multiple accounts to evade limits, bans, or to manipulate ratings.
4. Wallet and payments
- Funds added to your Exhubb wallet are held for use on the marketplace. Top-ups are processed by our payment partners (e.g. Flutterwave, crypto processors).
- Buying is funded from your wallet balance. Sellers pay a marketplace fee on completed sales, shown before you list.
- Wallet withdrawals (where available) are handled through support; we may require verification before processing.
5. Escrow — how payment works
- When a buyer pays, the amount is held in escrow — not released to the seller immediately.
- The seller delivers the item or service. The buyer reviews it and confirms.
- On confirmation — or automatically after the protection window if a buyer who received delivery goes silent — funds are released to the seller, minus the marketplace fee.
- If there is a problem, either party may open a dispute; funds remain in escrow until Exhubb reviews the evidence and decides. Exhubb's decision on a dispute is final.
6. Seller obligations
- List only items you have the right to sell and can actually deliver.
- Deliver promptly and as described. Misrepresenting an item is a breach of these Terms.
- Seller levels and the Verified badge are earned and may be adjusted or removed for policy violations.
7. Prohibited conduct
- Fraud, scams, chargeback/payment-reversal abuse, or attempting to take goods without paying.
- Moving deals off-platform to evade escrow — doing so removes your protection and may result in a ban.
- Selling stolen accounts/data, anything illegal, or anything that violates a third party's rights or another platform's terms.
- Harassment, hate speech, spam, or sharing other users' private information.
- Manipulating reviews, ratings, or seller levels.
Violations may lead to listing removal, withheld funds related to fraudulent activity, account suspension or ban, and reporting to authorities where appropriate.
8. Fees
Exhubb charges sellers a marketplace fee on completed orders and may charge for optional features such as featured listings. Applicable fees are shown before you commit. Payment-partner charges may also apply to top-ups.
9. Disputes between users
Buyers and sellers should first try to resolve issues through the in-order chat. If unresolved, open a dispute and Exhubb will review the evidence and make a binding decision regarding the escrowed funds.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exhubb is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the conduct of users. Our total liability for any claim relating to a transaction is limited to the amount held in escrow for that transaction. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe are engaged in fraud or abuse. You may close your account at any time, subject to settling open orders and disputes.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site, and continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria.
